It’s official the Halloween Season is here! Frightmare Forest Opens This Weekend! I can’t believe it… They will be open this Friday and Saturday night 8 to 10 pm. The Frightmare Forest has 2 haunted attractions. Admission is $9.00 for the Main Haunt only, or $13.00 for both haunts. You can save $1.00 on your admission by bringing a canned food item with you.
To get to the Frightmare Forest:
From I-380 take the 42nd St Exit in Cedar Rapids. Turn west onto 42nd street, and continue past Edgewood road, until you see a large school on the right hand side of the road (Xavier High School). Immediately following the SECOND paved driveway into the school, there is a gravel road (If you cross the railroad tracks, you have gone too far!). Turn right onto the gravel road, and follow the signs all the way back to Frightmare Forest.
