I’m not much of a sports fan, never really have been.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 I think it goes back to when my older Brother T.J. would use football or any other sport, as an excuse to beat the crap out of me.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 But that’s a whole different story.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

Somehow I end up watching\u00c2\u00a0the Super bowl every year.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0I\u00c2\u00a0 I used to watch “just for the commercials” but, \u00c2\u00a0over the past few years I think I’m developing a small appreciation for the game itself.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0What a fun game last night.\u00c2\u00a0 Especially in the\u00c2\u00a04th Quarter.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00c2\u00a0For a moment there I\u00c2\u00a0though\u00c2\u00a0Kurt Warner and\u00c2\u00a0the Arizona Cardinals had it made… Then there was that catch by the Steelers.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 While I was\u00c2\u00a0hoping the Card’s would win,\u00c2\u00a0I have to admit that catch was\u00c2\u00a0amazing.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

On top of\u00c2\u00a0the game itself, we were treated to a pretty\u00c2\u00a0awesome\u00c2\u00a0look at this years upcoming movies.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0I want to save\u00c2\u00a0some of this discussion for this weeks show, but I wanted to give my impression on a couple of the\u00c2\u00a0Movie Trailers that were broadcast.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>First was\u00c2\u00a0“Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen”.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 I wasn’t really blown away by the\u00c2\u00a0teaser.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0The only thing I saw in it that made me\u00c2\u00a0the slightest bit excited was what appears to be a glimpse of\u00c2\u00a0“Ravage”.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0If you grew up in the 80’s, and had the Soundwave Transformer, AKA the Boom Box.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0Ravage was one of the\u00c2\u00a0Cassette Tapes that transformed into a panther like cat.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0That was the\u00c2\u00a0very first\u00c2\u00a0Transformer I ever owned, and still one of my fav’s.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 I sure hope the next\u00c2\u00a0trailer has more substance to it…\u00c2\u00a0 If you recall,\u00c2\u00a0when the first Transformer’s movie was released, that\u00c2\u00a0Trailer\u00c2\u00a0didn’t really show anything….\u00c2\u00a0 So there’s hope.<\/p>\n

A few episodes back we mentioned Will Ferrell’s\u00c2\u00a0“Land of the Lost” movie.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 I have to say, not bad.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0One of the things I really enjoyed about the TV show, was just how bad and cheaply made everything looked.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0After\u00c2\u00a0letting the trailer sink in, I almost wonder if it is “Too well done”.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 Then again… Maybe not.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Year One”- This one\u00c2\u00a0almost looks like a remake of Terry Gilliam’s Time Bandits.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 Only with\u00c2\u00a0“Stoners” instead of “Little People”… Looks funny.

My favorite trailer was the 3D “Monster’s VS. Aliens”.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 While I honestly am not too impressed with the over all look of the film, the story sounds fun and the voice talent should be great.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 I’m a sucker for 3D on TV.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 Even though for the most part, it really hasn’t been done well over broadcast TV.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 I must say it looked pretty good.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

Tonight I’m really looking forward to the return of “Chuck” on NBC… Not only is the series starting back up, but It’ll be broadcast in 3D!!!\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 I love that show.-\u00c2\u00a0 Canman<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
