{"id":167,"date":"2008-08-30T19:49:44","date_gmt":"2008-08-31T00:49:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thecanmanshow.com\/?p=167"},"modified":"2008-08-30T19:49:44","modified_gmt":"2008-08-31T00:49:44","slug":"calling-all-eastern-iowa-haunted-attractions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thecanmanshow.com\/?p=167","title":{"rendered":"Calling all Eastern Iowa Haunted Attractions!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Halloween and Haunted Attraction season is quickly approaching.\u00c2\u00a0 This season I will be devoting a page on The Canman Show, just for Haunted Attraction Reviews.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 Several years ago I founded The Frightmare Forest.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 I&#8217;ve since retired from the Haunting business.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0I still have a great fondness for Haunted Houses and Haunted Attractions.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 I am making it my goal to visit each haunted attraction in the Corridor and do a detailed review.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I will use my Haunted House experience when I review your haunt.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 Each haunt will be given a grade based on many factors including but not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Wait time<\/strong>.\u00c2\u00a0 How long you wait in line is very important.\u00c2\u00a0 It shows that you are managing your &#8220;through-put&#8221;.\u00c2\u00a0 The most successful haunts, get the visitors to their attractions\u00c2\u00a0through the line\u00c2\u00a0quickly.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Que Line\u00c2\u00a0Entertainment<\/strong>.\u00c2\u00a0 While waiting, what did you do to set the mood?\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 Was it effective?\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Safety and accessibility.<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0 Did I ever feel that I was in danger in the haunt?\u00c2\u00a0 Did I ever feel the actors in the haunt were in danger?\u00c2\u00a0 \u00c2\u00a0Will everyone who visits the haunt be able to enjoy their visit (AKA Wheel Chair Accessible and other special needs.)<\/li>\n<li><strong>The appearance of the Haunt<\/strong>.\u00c2\u00a0 How was the design?\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 Were the public areas of the haunt kept clean?\u00c2\u00a0 Did the appearance of the sets\/rooms keep me in the haunt mood?
