{"id":485,"date":"2008-10-01T09:39:19","date_gmt":"2008-10-01T14:39:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thecanmanshow.com\/?p=485"},"modified":"2008-10-01T09:40:23","modified_gmt":"2008-10-01T14:40:23","slug":"iron-man-dvd-review","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thecanmanshow.com\/?p=485","title":{"rendered":"Iron Man DVD review."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Iron-Man-Two-Disc-Special-Collectors\/dp\/B00005JPS8\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" title=\"Iron Man DVD cover\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/ecx.images-amazon.com\/images\/I\/515wjJQt2nL._SS400_.jpg?resize=280%2C280\" alt=\"\" width=\"280\" height=\"280\" \/><\/a>Have I\u00c2\u00a0mentioned how much I enjoyed the movie <a title=\"Official IRON MAN movie site\" href=\"http:\/\/ironmanmovie.marvel.com\/\">Iron Man<\/a>?\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0I picked up the 2 disc special edition last night.\u00c2\u00a0 Zoe, Zada and I curled up on the couch and watched\u00c2\u00a0it.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0Zoe fell asleep, but Zada LOVED it.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0She was jumping arround\u00c2\u00a0pretending she was blasting the bad guys on the screen.\u00c2\u00a0I\u00c2\u00a0have to corrupt them now while they&#8217;re\u00c2\u00a0still young.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0I caught myself geeking out over the DVD special features on disc 2.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 The &#8220;I am Iron Man&#8221; documentary is totally worth the extra money alone, and that&#8217;s not the only special feature.\u00c2\u00a0 It chronicles the production of the film.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0The documentary\u00c2\u00a0includes some priceless interviews with <a title=\"Stan's wiki\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Stan_Winston\">Stan Winston <\/a>and had some great footage of <a title=\"Stan Winston Studio\" href=\"http:\/\/www.stanwinstonstudio.com\/home.html\">Stan&#8217;s workshop<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It was also cool to see <a title=\"John's IMDB page\" href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0269463\/\">John Faverau&#8217;s<\/a> interviews.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 He REALLY slimmed down during the production.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 For a fat guy like me, It was inspirational to see him drop the pounds.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Even if you&#8217;re not a comic book fan, pick this one up.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0&#8211;<a href=\"mailto:thecanmanshow@gmail.com\"> Canman<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Have I\u00c2\u00a0mentioned how much I enjoyed the movie Iron Man?\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0I picked up the 2 disc special edition last night.\u00c2\u00a0 Zoe, Zada and I curled up on the couch and watched\u00c2\u00a0it.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0Zoe fell asleep, but Zada LOVED it.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0She was jumping arround\u00c2\u00a0pretending she was blasting the bad guys on the screen.\u00c2\u00a0I\u00c2\u00a0have to corrupt them now while they&#8217;re\u00c2\u00a0still young.
