Janelle Lauer's NEW CD!<\/p><\/div>\n

It’s no secret <\/strong>that I pre-record my interviews for The Canman Show.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 Last night I had the pleasure of interviewing Janelle Lauer<\/a>about her new CD “Change” and her upcoming CD release party.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 This CD is very R&B with a rock slant.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 Very nice!\u00c2\u00a0 It’s rocking my Zune Today!.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 Be sure to pick it up when you get a chance and hear a special sneak peak of it on Episode 10!!!\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 I’ll post more information on her show in Episode 10’s show notes (coming Late Thursday Night\u00c2\u00a0or Friday Afternoon).<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/a><\/a><\/strong>Hellboy 2 “The Golden Army<\/a>” came out yesterday on DVD.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 I’m going to have to buy this one!\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 I’m a huge Hellboy fan.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0I have been ever since Kevin turned me on to Mike Mignolia’s <\/a>art full and creative comic book and novels.\u00c2\u00a0 Hellboy’s been described as X-files meets an X-file.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 Full of humor and very intelligently written.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 Be sure to pick up any and all Hellboy comics you can.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 They rock!\u00c2\u00a0 (pardon the pun)<\/a><\/a><\/p>\n

\u00c2\u00a0Getting Healthy Day 10:<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0 10 days no soda pop or caffeine.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 I did go a little hog wild yesterday at lunch and over ate a little.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 We went to Pizza Ranch in North Liberty.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 It’s pretty good, but the food can’t be good for you.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 I made up for it by eating a sensible supper.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 Still working on getting exercise.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 We walked around Sam’s club last night.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 That was fun.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 They’re gearing up for the holidays and had all the cool toys out.<\/p>\n

Speaking of Toys.<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0 On my excursion to Sam’s they had one of those “Kota” animatronic Triceratops dinosaurs <\/a>on display.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 It was out for people to play with….\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 I fell in love with it.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0It’s so life like, you can even feed it fake leaves and when you tickle his chin, he has a funny reaction. It’ll be on the top of my.. err my\u00c2\u00a0daughter’s\u00c2\u00a0Christmas list this year.<\/p>\n

Xbox Update:<\/strong>Today the box came to ship my dead\u00c2\u00a0Xbox-360 back to Microsoft.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 We immediately packed it up when I got home from work and ran it to UPS.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 Now I’m crossing my fingers that\u00c2\u00a0we get it back before Christmas- Canman<\/p>\n
