Gas Prices.\u00c2\u00a0 <\/strong>I was reading this article <\/a>on Gazetteonline.com and it got me thinking.\u00c2\u00a0 Which is scary I know.\u00c2\u00a0 In the comments someone posted this map.<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 I find it very interesting that in\u00c2\u00a0Des Moines,\u00c2\u00a0the average gas price was $1.65 to $1.75 per gallon.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 In Cedar Rapids the average gas price is $1.95 to $2.05 per gallon.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 Why is it $0.75 cheaper in Des Moines?\u00c2\u00a0 Many people\u00c2\u00a0feel it’s price fixing.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 Which wouldn’t surprise me… Anyone with some in site on this one, please send it my way.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

Tonight at 7:00 pm<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0is Java and Jazz\u00c2\u00a0 concert at Cedar Rapids Washington High School in their band room.\u00c2\u00a0 My son Zach plays trumpet in their “Jazz Also” band.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 Tickets are $8.00 available at the door and they have cookies, cake and Java\u00c2\u00a0Oh My!\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0It promises to be a fun time!<\/p>\n

<\/a>Speaking of Zach<\/strong>, he’s looking forward to today’s DVD release of “Tropic Thunder<\/a>“.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 He gives it a high rating and says he “laughed his butt off”.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 I did not look at his butt to confirm this,\u00c2\u00a0 however he stands behind that statement.<\/p>\n

WALL-E <\/a>(the potentially less offensive\u00c2\u00a0Disney movie)\u00c2\u00a0also comes out today.\u00c2\u00a0 Rob Merritt said earlier this year that “this is one of the best Disney movies ever released.”\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 If Rob said it, I believe it.<\/p>\n
