I’m trying to save my paid time off for Christmas.<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 So this week I’m making up 8 hours over the next 3 days so I can have a 4 day weekend.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 It’s going to be rough, but I can do it!\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 I’m sure I’m not the only person doing this too.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

My wife and I are starting to put our “Holiday Shopping Game Plan” together<\/strong>.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 Because my children read my blog, I can’t post the shopping list here.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 We’re having a delima on what exactly we want to do.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 We do have a pretty decent budget this year, but not 100% sure what to get the kids.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 We have some good ideas, but can always use help.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 If you have any ideas, send them my way.<\/a><\/p>\n

Kevin and I did record a “Thanksgiving Special”<\/strong> episode that we’ll be posting on Wednesday.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 We’ll start back up with Episode 12 the first week of December.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0I have been craving pumpkin pie.<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 I missed out on it yesterday at a pre-Thanksgiving dinner at my in-laws and was pretty disappointed.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 So, to make up for it, last night \u00c2\u00a0I went to the Hiawatha DQ specifically to get a pumpkin pie blizzard.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 The drive there, I was even singing “Pumpkin pie… gonna have pumpkin pie!”.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 I got to the DQ, placed my order and they guy at the other end of the “squawk box” said “I’m sorry we’re no longer serving those!!!”\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 I was crushed.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 I choked up and didn’t quite know what to say.\u00c2\u00a0 Twice denied the pumpkin treat in the same day!\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 I pulled away, almost in tears…\u00c2\u00a0 I guess I have to wait till Thursday.\u00c2\u00a0:(\u00c2\u00a0 I suppose it was Karma’s way of saying “Dude, you really don’t need that, aren’t you trying to get healthy???”<\/p>\n
