A couple years ago I was introduced to “Steampunk”.\u00c2\u00a0 Steampunk is a term that loosley describes a genre of storytelling and for some people a way of life.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 Imagine if you will that electric and gasoline powered\u00c2\u00a0motors hadn’t become the chosen technology that almost everything mechanical is made with.\u00c2\u00a0 In the Steampunk universe almost all the dominant technology was made with steam powered engines and motors.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 It’s not really a new idea, but it’s recently developing quite a following.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

A few artists\u00c2\u00a0have taken the time to create an alternate Steam Punk version of Star Wars<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 Their\u00c2\u00a0dawings and paintings\u00c2\u00a0are awe inspiring<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 \u00c2\u00a0Someone else has even taken the time to create Steam Punk Star Wars figures<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 They’re pretty sweet.\u00c2\u00a0 Today I found a video of a real steam powered R2D2 robot.\u00c2\u00a0 Enjoy- Canman<\/p>\n
