\"\"<\/a>Today Kevin and I took in “The Spirit”.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/a>I’m pretty sure that the movie will upset the fans of Will Eisner’s original work, however\u00c2\u00a0I very much enjoyed the film.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0It is visually stunning, the acting was pretty good and the story was kind of fun.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0I thought Samuel L. Jackson was pretty hilarious as “The Octopus”.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 It was campy, fun that looked an a lot like “Sin City”.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 <\/a>If you’re looking for a fun film to check out on a Saturday afternoon, check it out.<\/p>\n

Following the movie, we\u00c2\u00a0went to check out “The Tilted Kilt”.<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0While\u00c2\u00a0often compared to “Hooters”,\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0we found their menu had\u00c2\u00a0a larger selection, and I\u00c2\u00a0discovered that I prefer the Kilt outfit worn by the girls at The Tilted Kilt to the Hot pants worn by the Hooters Girls.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0The food was great, the beer was cold and the girls looked amazing!\u00c2\u00a0 The pricing seemed a little high, but not too high. \u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 Our only real\u00c2\u00a0concern was that the service was a little slow.\u00c2\u00a0 I’m sure it had something to do with them being busy, and a new restaurant.\u00c2\u00a0 So\u00c2\u00a0we’ll forgive them this time.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

We noticed they have more flat screen TVs than we could count!\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 There was a game on every television.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0I’m not much of a sports fan, so I enjoyed watching the other attraction.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0Ahem…\u00c2\u00a0 Kevin however was glued to the tube.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 Me I’m more of a fan of the “Tube top” nuff said.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 When you get a chance be sure to check out Cedar Rapids’ newest eatery.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n
