 I’m having a tough time deciding what to dress up as for Halloween this year.  I usually go all out and am struggling to decide.  I have a couple ideas but not 100% sold on them yet.  

Idea # 1. Paint my skin green, hair purple.  Then rip up some purple stretchy pants, rip up a flannel shirt and dress as The Incredible Hulk.

Idea# 2. Shave the right side of my face.  Get a really wrinkled shirt and pants and then perm press the pant and shirt on the right side only, using lots of starch. Keeping the left side nice and messed up.   Un-tuck the left side.   Scuff up my left dress shoe and shine my right…. Come as Jekyll and Hyde… 

Idea #3.  Dress as Dave Bucketinski from The Full Monty.

We discuss different events in the area this week as well as, paranormal activity, ghosts, haunted places, Xbox 360 title Dead Space and much, much more.

Keeping with this month’s Halloween theme we’ll be discussing some of our favorite Ghost Stories and perhaps share some from our listeners.  

 We all love movies, tonight I’ve challenged the guys to come up with some of their favorite films that might not have done well at the box office, but are worth a look. 

We’ll also be discussing the cool tech stuff and toys we’re thinking about putting on our Christmas lists this year.   I might even have my kids list off some of the cool stuff they want too.

This week we’ll be recording our Halloween Episode of The Canman Show and we’re hoping to share some of your favorite ghost stories and paranormal experiences.    If you have one to share please send them to me thecanmanshow@gmail.com.  I’ll accept mp3 file format audio files or a written story.  Please put Ghost Story in the subject line of your e-mail.

 The deadline for your submission is 4:30 pm Thursday 10/23/08, but I recommend sending them sooner.  That will give us time to read the stories before we record our show Thursday night. 

Please include your name so I can give you credit for your story.    Maybe we’ll read yours on the show!

The elevator I ride to my office smelled of “warm cotton candy”….  Dang-it!  Now I want some friggen cotton candy.   

UK defence officials have released a 4,500 pages of documented UFO sightings that were reported from 1986-1992.    I’m looking forward to hearing some of the stories that were reported.   Check out CNN’s article here.

Is anyone else geeking out about the images of the new Star Trek that have been released?   It looks like the casting directors nailed the look of most of the bridge crew.    The first full length trailer will be playing with the new James Bond flick Quantum of Solace when it is released on November 14th. Would you like to see Theatre Cedar Rapids production of The Rocky Horror Show for FREE!?!?  

Theatre Cedar Rapids is in need of volunteers to help sell “Prop Bags” prior to the shows and at intermission.   If you help, you will be able to check out this amazing show for FREE!

The show opens this weekend and they would need people for each performance.  

The performances are 7:30 pm and 10:30 pm on Friday and Saturday night Oct 24th, 25th and Friday and Saturday night Oct 31st and Nov 1st.  

They would love it if you did this while dressed as your Favorite Rocky Horror character, however it isn’t required.
