RIP Joe Cool

Growing up my some of my most treasured memories are watching the “Peanuts” holiday specials on CBS.   Before Star Wars took over my world, Snoopy was my hero.  It is with a heavy heart that I announce that Bill Melendez the the voice of Snoopy has passed away at the age of 91. 

 He was also one of the worlds best know animators.   He worked on several Disney shorts and movies including “Pinocchio” and “Fantasia.” 

He was Charles M. Schulz’s official “Peanuts” animator.  Bill was the only person authorized by Schulz to animate his characters.

He will be greatly missed.   – Canman
