A couple years ago I was introduced to “Steampunk”.  Steampunk is a term that loosley describes a genre of storytelling and for some people a way of life.   Imagine if you will that electric and gasoline powered motors hadn’t become the chosen technology that almost everything mechanical is made with.  In the Steampunk universe almost all the dominant technology was made with steam powered engines and motors.    It’s not really a new idea, but it’s recently developing quite a following.  

A few artists have taken the time to create an alternate Steam Punk version of Star Wars.  Their dawings and paintings are awe inspiring.   Someone else has even taken the time to create Steam Punk Star Wars figures.   They’re pretty sweet.  Today I found a video of a real steam powered R2D2 robot.  Enjoy- Canman
